Short/Long Rest Feature Rest

In class/subclass feature descriptions, it takes if the feature can be reused after a Short or Long Rest.

However, is it implied that features can be reused on Long rests also be reused on Short rests, or is the expended use reset only on a Long Rest?

Some features reset after a Long Rest. Other features reset after a Short Rest or a Long Rest. Each feature will specify.

If it only says it resets on a long rest, then it only resets on a long rest.
