Outside of the Crafting and Bastion systems, I don't see any rules dedicated to downtime activities in 2024. Just making sure I'm not missing anything obvious (or not so obvious).
I'm about to have a 10 week "break" in the timeline of the campaign I'm running and will adapt what I need from 2014 and the rules in XGtE, but wanted to make sure I didn't roll a 1 on my Investigation check as it pertains to the 2024 rules.
Given that they didn’t retool most of the activities (crafting and magic items being the exception), there wasn’t much reason to put them in the new DMG. The rest is also all pretty peripheral to core play, so it makes more sense to leave them in a supplemental book rather than in a core one.

I'd say you rolled a 20, and you're not missing anything.
There's a related thread here: Where is Down TIme Activity in 2024?
