A character is feather falling. Can the falling body be manipulated? Can an imp familiar pull the body side to side as it falls? Could a flying familiar stop the fall into a hover? Slow it even further? Lift the bespelled body upward because gravity not affecting it the same? Gravity, of course, isn't mentioned, just speed.
Choose up to five falling creatures within range. A falling creature’s rate of descent slows to 60 feet per round until the spell ends. If a creature lands before the spell ends, the creature takes no damage from the fall, and the spell ends for that creature.
* - which you take when you or a creature you can see within 60 feet of you falls
My opinion not possible for familiar with help action (flying) be able to do anything And most have low str scores to (familiar) - imp =6) which would make it not possible

In general there's nothing about the spell that imposes any restrictions on what can happen to people who are under its effect. Anything that could normally affect them while they're falling can still do so.
Whether an Imp, specifically, can move a falling creature around while it's falling is more about its own capabilities than about the spell. As a Tiny creature with a Strength of 6, an Imp can only push or drag a weight of 90 lbs (this is defined in the Player's Handbook's Rules Glossary under "Carrying Capacity") and most player characters probably weigh significantly more than that, especially with all their gear and stuff on. And while the spell changes the targets' falling speed, it doesn't change their mass or weight.
