In the book "Exploring Eberron" there is a weapon that allows resistances to be ignored for one round. In the book it does not require attunement, but on the DnD beyond website and character sheet it does.
All the other items listed clearly say "Requires attunement" except for these, so I would assume they do not, but DnD Beyond lists them all as a requirement.
In the book Resistance Breaker is an Artificer Infusion on a simple or melee martial weapon that doesn't require attunement like some others such as Bane Weapon so as TarodNet said D&D Beyond is wrong.

Hi,
In the book "Exploring Eberron" there is a weapon that allows resistances to be ignored for one round. In the book it does not require attunement, but on the DnD beyond website and character sheet it does.
https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/exeb/chapter-7-treasures#MiscellaneousMagicItems (The page of the book)
https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/11122700-resistance-breaker (The items if you follow the link)
All the other items listed clearly say "Requires attunement" except for these, so I would assume they do not, but DnD Beyond lists them all as a requirement.
Which is correct?
Thanks
I'd say the book is right, and the implementation in D&D Beyond isn't.
EDIT: attunement was also not required in the 2020 book published on DMsGuild.
In the book Resistance Breaker is an Artificer Infusion on a simple or melee martial weapon that doesn't require attunement like some others such as Bane Weapon so as TarodNet said D&D Beyond is wrong.
