So this has probably already been discussed but a search of the forums did not result in a good answer (maybe it was my search terms??).
My question is, if a character (or monster) has advantage at the beginning of its turn, does the advantage apply to all attacks from that entity during that turn? For example, if a monk attacks with advantage and he chooses to use Flurry of Blows, does each of those attacks all get advantage or just the first?
Thanks in advance for whatever sage advice you can offer!
It really depends on the source of advantage. If the target is prone, restrained, etc. etc., then as long as the condition is still in play, then anyone attacking them will have advantage. Some spells, such as guiding bolt give advantage, and the spell says it’s for the next attack roll only.

Say your DM gives advantage for being on the high ground, or som other terrain advantage.
If you are a ranger, and have 2 attacks, as long as you stay within those conditions you will have advantage on all attacks.
As JCAUDM said, it’s situational.
Thank you both for your input!!!
