ok so one of my players created a PC and had boxes checked that shouldn't have been and some unchecked that needed to be check marked. if we uncheck Optional Class Features and Customize Your Origin and then also add a check to multiclass requirements will it force him to choose new options or since his character is made will it remain unchanged even by adjusting the boxes in character home tab?

Turning off "Optional Class Features" will turn off any individual optional class features you've enabled on the Class tab. This is only relevant for 5e classes that actually have optional class features. If you're not using one of those classes or you haven't enabled any optional class features, this won't do anything.
Turning off "Customize Your Origin" will revert any changes you've made on the "Origin Manager" section of the Species tab to the defaults for the species. This is only relevant for pre-2020 species options that specified a particular set of ability score bonuses and languages. If you're not using one of those species or you haven't made any changes on that section, this won't do anything.
Turning on "Multiclass Requirements" will not cause any immediate changes, though it will prevent any new classes from being added that you don't meet the prerequisites for.

No, it will restrict further selections though.
