Magical Darkness vs Vision

Personally I rule it as a inky black sphere you can't see in, into, or through. 

side note I treat all magical darkness that way I think the sage advice is a bad ruling.

 I saw Pantagruel666 already answered you, so yes, basically I also use Line of Sight for my ruling, so if you have the Blinded condition while trying to see something in an Darkness area, it makes no sense to me that the Blinded condition would just stop while trying to see farther away in the same direction.
