Aberrant Anatomy and other Dark Gift Feats from Ravenloft setting have big benefits, but also a drawback:

Immediately after you make a D20 Test and roll a 1 on the d20, (you need to save vs bad stuff)

As RPGBot correctly notes, how this wording interacts with Advantage, Heroic Inspiration, Halfling Lucky, etc, makes a big big difference in how bad it is.

Is there any official statement or errata about it?

Not as far as I know, but the roll of a d20 test is after taking all of those contingencies into account.
