Dhampir healing with primal savagery?

I'm building a lv 7 dhampir rogue who has the druid initiate feat for free from their background, if I selected primal savagery as one of their cantrips could they gain temp hp equal to 2d10 if they bite someone with it?

No, the Dhampir healing ability applies if they make a damaging Unarmed Strike. Primal Savagery is a melee spell attack, not an Unarmed Strike.

The healing ability also says the Dhampir regains HP "equal to the Piercing damage dealt", and Primal Savagery doesn't deal any Piercing damage.
