In the new Arcana Unleashed book, under the section about the Simple Magic Item Evolution, is there any reason why the wraps of unarmed power are not listed along with the +x items? Could this just be an oversight or has anyone found any reason why its not been included? Easy to overrule as a DM and just curious if there was a genuine reason that I cannot see.
I mean, if you want a reason, you'd have to get a designer to answer.
As a DM, you can always just apply it to whatever item you want. I don't foresee any issue here. Just remember that the evolving wraps should require attunement (when straight-up +x wraps do not).
Wraps of Unarmed Power are classified as Wondrous Items in the Dungeon Master's Guide. I would agree with Squirrelloid that you should be able to apply the magic item evolution the same way as you would with any +1 weapon without any issues. Functionally, they work the same way.

Wouldn’t it just be covered under the weapon +1?
