Hey all,
Have a character with the "Favored by the Gods" feature, and under the Short Rest section. under "Recover" it says:
"Reset Maximum HP changes during this rest" (with a checkbox)
What does this do/mean? Played around with it but can't determine what it does.
It also says that same thing under Long Rest, but the box is checked off.
Certain things can raise your max hp above what your hp should be. That box resets it back to your normal max.
Thanks...makes perfect sense now.
Thanks I have been wondering this as well.
There are also things that can lower your max HP, like a vampire bite. A Long Rest resets that reduction.
To help others who find this thread, you can test this by going to HP Management, then changing your HP using MAX HP MODIFIER or OVERRIDE MAX HP. Then take a rest and use the recover option.
