I'm just coming back to the game after a couple of decades. In creating a Mystic (from UA) for my wife, I discovered that her AC as an Immortal Mystic, specifically when NOT wearing armor, (10+Dex+Con), is the same as if she were wearing studded leather. Is there any reason to wear the armor?
The monk is not even proficient in any armour. The mystic is proficient in light armour. I didnt found any other class feature that interfere with wearing an armour.
So if the AC is exact the same with the armour and with the Immortal durability feature, I'd say it is up to you wheter wearing the armur or not. it is worth mentioning that Immortal Durability does not allow wearing a shield either.

Thnks for the help!
Mechanically there is no benefit to wearing armor if you have a passive ability which provides the same AC.
Indirectly, not wearing armor on the battlefield may cause some targets to think you are an easier target and shoot at you, not wearing armor in social situations may make the people more at ease. Also the armor might provide some level of heat insulation which might be good (in the cold) or not so good (in the heat).

Hey community,

You can wear an armour not for the AC but for some magical properties it might have.
If the Mystic has additional abilities that are dependent on not wearing armor, don't wear any armor. That's how Monks work.

Thanks for all the help! Looks like she's not wearing armor. It will allow her to explore other fashion options, I imagine.
