In the Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica under Izzet League party creation it states that an all Izzet party might suffer from a lack of a dedicated healing character, however, this could be offset by the use of Alchemist created healing potions.
I assume that the flavor of the Alchemy Kit more closely follows the lore of the Izzet league, rather than the Herbalism kit, but we can find no description of the Alchemy Kit being used to create Potions of Healing in our other source books. Is this an error, or is it possible to use the Alchemy Kit to create healing/curative items?

Also, proficiency with this kit is required to create antitoxin and any Potion of Healing.
That's from the herbalism kit description, so you can use the alchemy kit, but you need proficiency with herbalism for any healing potions.
Giant flaming rocks filled with tarrasques fall, everyone dies.
