For Supreme Sneak: "you have advantage on any ability check you make to hide if you move no more than half your speed on the turn you make the check."
What if a rogue uses cunning action to Dash? So if movement is 30, is a character limited to 15ft of movement total? Or could you move 15ft, Dash 15ft then hide with advantage?
Dashing allows you to gain extra movement equal to your speed, it does not increase your speed.
Thus in this situation if your movement is 30, the maximum you could move is 15 feet if you want the advantage on hiding.
"When you take the Dash action, you gain extra movement for the current turn. The increase equals your speed, after applying any modifiers...
Any increase or decrease to your speed changes this additional movement by the same amount. If your speed of 30 feet is reduced to 15 feet, for instance, you can move up to 30 feet this turn if you dash."
Dash does not make your movement become 60, it allows you to take your movement an extra time per turn. Your movement is the number that is written on your character sheet (usually 30), not the total number of feet you are able to move with multiple uses of different types of action.

Movement and speed are two different things. Speed is your actual speed, movement is how much you move/can move in a turn through the combined effects of your speed and any abilities you use.
Difficult terrain, for example, changes your movement-- It does not however, change your speed. You still have 30 foot speed, but for every 5 feet of movement through difficult terrain, it uses 10 feet of your speed.
Slow on the other hand, changes your speed, not how movement is handled. If you had 30 foot speed, you now have 15 foot speed -- which in the case of this ability would then make your maximum movement for this ability 5 feet (as everything in 5E rounds down unless otherwise specified).
Movement is derived from speed, but it is not the same thing as speed.
Replying to this old post because it was one of the top google hits on supreme sneak. I just have to say that this ability is not that great. Instead, get a Cloak of Elvenkind, move at full speed or even Dash and move double your movement, with advantage all the time and imposing disadvantage on any Perception checks to find you.
When it comes to Supreme Sneak is this only meant for "in initiative" movement? If a PC is not in inititative and they only move, max, half their movement do they still get advantage?

Wouldn't' that mean the opposite then? If my movement is now 60 because of Dash and I move 30, that's half my movement.
No, your speed is still only 30. Doubling your amount of movement does not alter the speed at which you move.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.

Mellie, didn't realize I was being so imprecise in my language... but that's an excellent breakdown that makes it very clear!

Hello,
When it comes to Supreme Sneak is this only meant for "in initiative" movement? If a PC is not in inititative and they only move, max, half their movement do they still get advantage?
So when not in combat? Yes, I believe that's part of the point.
