I'm trying to figure out the build with the highest consistent damage, by consistent damage I mean can go through multiple battles and not lose power, Sorlocks work cause they have enough Sorcery Points to last multiple battles.
My current builds are:
Sorlock, whose damage is, 40 at level 5, 60 at 11, and 80 at 17.
My other build is Paladin 11/Cleric 8/Warlock 1, Warlock is to get Charisma bonus to weapon to reduce MAD. Oathbreaker Paladin uses a Quarterstaff with the dueling fighting style, plus the Polearm Master feat, plus extra attack, plus Aura of Hate which gives you bonus damage equal to your Cha mod, Plus Improved Divine Smite which adds 1d8 damage to each attack. War Cleric to get Divine Strike which adds 1d8 damage to each attack, plus some extra spell slots.
The damage of this build is more complicated, but it ends up being an average of 72 damage, and because of Polearm Master, if an enemy enters my reach I deal an additional 24 damage. And that's not even including spending spell slots for extra Smite damage.
Note: All of the damage calculations assume all attacks hit, and a Charisma score of 20.
So are there any other consistent high damage builds, and are there any issues with my Paladin Multiclass build?
