Quick question. Do consumable items, like potions, actually reflect on the character sheet? Also when you use all of the charges of the item will it delete from your character sheet?
If you add the consumables to your inventory they will be there. Most, if not all, consumable (such as arrows and rations) have an accompanying counter you can use the up/down arrows to manage inventory of. When it reaches 0, the item remains in your inventory unless you remove it entirely. (The theory, I assume, being that you can purchase or make more depending on character ability/DM ruling, so why remove it entirely if you're going to have access to more.)
Similarly, magic items with charges do not disappear from your inventory when all charges are consumed. Items with charges usually always have a reset condition that you would roll as a player and manually restore the charges on the item. They also have rules for what happens when the item is reduced to 0 charges (typically rolling a d20 and if the roll is a natural 1 the item is destroyed). Because it's not automatic that the item is destroyed when all charges are consumed, the item is not auto-removed from inventory.
In fact, that I'm aware, nothing is auto-removed from a player's inventory.
