So i was wondering if this was valid cause I wanted to make a "chef" sorcerer.
I cast shape water, and make a spherical ball of ice that is basically a bunch of really small ice cubes packed in somewhat into a ball shape. I put it in a cup.
I cast prestidigitation and make it red.
I cast prestidigitation and make it have the flavor of cherries.
"Here you go kid! I call this invention... The snow cone!"
Yep, probably. That's two non-instant effects from each spell, which is allowed. If I were the DM I allow would allow it all, but remind you that all this magic is temporary and a bit fake. It would make an interesting treat, but after eating it you would miss the feeling of having actually consumed such a sugary confection - it would feel a bit like you had drunk a cool glass of water. It would impress someone once, but wouldn't make a good long term business prospect.
To be fair, a snowcone really is just cold, frozen water with a bit of flavoring, so i feel like it mimics close enough. It will taste like cherry ice going down, which is all it really is anyways😄 i wasn't planning on selling it, but just as a treat too children i meet. The effects gone after an hour, but at that point does it matter? ;) It's not like you could live off of just snowcones 😂 thanks for making sure i didnt extrapulate and misinterpret the rules.
It wouldn't be more or less filling then a standard snowcone right? A snowcone is just flavored ice, and this is just... Flavored ice. It would be like using a sugar free syrup to flavor your snowcone so there's no calories. 🤔 I think its a pretty close mimic but i wouldn't argue this at a table during a game, DM's decision's are final.😅
