I thought that the skill bonus would be attribute plus proficiency (unless you don't have proficiency, in which case it is 0 or less if your attribute is less than zero).
However, when I read my skills, I see that I have +2 charisma and my character is 3rd level so proficiency bonus is +2 which equals +4. However, under persuasion, which I am proficient in, it says I have a +2. Am I misreading it or is it miscalculated?
You may be reading your save bonus instead of your attribute bonus. If you are proficient in charisma saves, your proficiency bonus will be added to your save.
If that is not the case, link your character so we can see what's up.

Doh, you are right. Sorry.
