I agree with DxJxC. The leap, Sigred, is where you are going with number 7. All others are facts, but 7 ( or the inference that the lizards bite becomes/overlaps with the bears bite to become an unarmed bite with natural weapon bite damage dice) is unsupported. Not sure where you're getting off with that "exactly".

As long as we all agree that the 1d6+4 bite benefits from martial arts, and the 1d8+4 bite does not. And also that the 1d6+4 bite cant be used with the brown bear's multiattack.
If that is what we all agree with, discussion over.
NEWBIE here … I'm trying to understand if a Dragonborn's talon damage and his monk unarmed strike damage are stackable or are you forced to use only one method?
