I was looking at making a new characters and wanted to do something different, so I was looking at all the lesser seen characters at least in my opinion and just because I decided to go on characters that were legal in the league. So I was reading about Eladrin's more specifically Spring Eladrin's they have Fey step and at level 3 it gains an additional effect based on your season the additional effect for spring is that you can touch a creature with 5ft of you and teleport it 30ft within your eyesight my question is can I use this to teleport creatures off cliffs or ledges ETC if it is within 30ft?
Spring. When you use your Fey Step, you can touch one willing creature within 5 feet of you....
This is kind of a curious question... Because the creature has to be willing for you to be able to teleport them. However, it doesn't specify that the creature has to be aware of where you are teleporting them.
So for example, an enemy probably won't let you willing teleport them, however, a friend may assuming you won't teleport them off a cliff or 30 ft straight up.
As a DM, however, I would rule that the intention is that the target you are teleporting and must be a location they are willing to teleport to. For example, they may not want to be teleported off a cliff, but a rogue may want to be teleported behind, which will give him advantage as he would have a surprise attack.
I'd say that "willing" covers the entire teleportation, including destination. So if someone wants to be teleported off a cliff, then sure. But it's not the kind of thing you could use as a combat tactic against an enemy.
Hi everybody "waves"

Any responses are gladly read.
Does the target need to be willing or is that not specified?

I'm going to go with a simple "no," because of the whole willing thing.

Fair enough, I totally missed that willing part of the text, Haha thanks for all the responses
