In the DMG, the Hammer of Thunderbolts reads, "While you are attuned to this weapon and holding it, your Strength score increases by 4 and can exceed 20, but not 30."
A Belt of Giant's Strength reads, "While wearing this belt, your Strength score changes to a score granted by the belt. If your Strength is already equal to or greater than the belt's score, the item has no effect on you."
In my particular case, I have a character with a base strength score of 8, a Belt of Fire Giant Strength, and the Hammer of Thunderbolts (and obviously the gauntlets needed to attune to the Hammer as well). Is my effective strength score 25, or 29?
I would normally interpret the Belt's strict RAW as disallowing stacking (even if that does not seem like RAI). However, Jeremy Crawford says: "Hammer of thunderbolts adds to your current Strength, no matter how your current Str. is determined."
Yep, the Hammer of Thunderbolts add a boonus, does not set the Strength to a score. So your Strength will be set by the Belt of Giant Strength (Fire) and incremented by the Hammer.

Now how does that interact with Ability Score Increases to Strength?
The ability score increase, I dont think matters because you can't increase the ability above 20 with that class feature. So the Belt of Fire giant strength will set the score to 25 and Hammer add +4.
The Storm belt set the strength to 29 , but the Hammer clearly say "no more than 30", so in this case you have 30.

It doesn’t add correctly with all 3 items attuned.

Yeah, it looks like it's applying the gaunts (19), then the hammer (+4, so 23), and then the belt doesn't do anything because your strength is already 23. Should post in the Bugs forum.
Ok so I'm a 20 foot ogre with a 32 strength does this set up help me cause I have the hammer of thunderbolt with the ogre gauntlets and the belt of storm giants strength so can I get a boost or no and it's a homebrew game
It's still a very powerful weapon, also it never says you have to be attuned to the belt of Giant Strength of the Gauntlets of Ogre Power, you only have to wear them.

29, because the hammer's useless otherwise.

Good points. Thank you.

You'd have to ask your DM. Normally, your strength cant even go over 30 from any source. You have already achieved that.
