Hi. Sorry for the noob question but I'm pretty new to the D&D world and I am having quite some difficulty in trying to understand how to lvl up my character using the D&D Beyond tool set. Me and my siblings decided to play D&D tonight and we have no clue on how to lvl up. I've look everywhere on the forums and the compendium but I can't seem to find anything that would possibly help me out in understanding this any better. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can help out with making me understand this.
Go into the Edit menu, click on the Class tab, and select which class you want to level up. The developers are working on making it more obvious, so this advice might become obsolete at any time.

Right now, the XP management in DDB is just made for keeping track of the XP gained. When you have to level up, you go back to the editor, in the class section, and in the drop menus you change your level accordingly, Keep in mind that you have to define 2 level. Character level, which takes into account the total XP of the character, and the class level, in case you want multiclass.
Thank you so much. I could've sworn it was something like that but it seemed a little weird to go back into the character builder and change it from the very beginning as editing it again just leads me back to the starting page of the character builder.
