As listed the 'Magical Tinkering' feat has an effect where it can record a message. What i want to know is if 'Magical Tinkering' can record, for example, a bards 'Vicious Mockery'. would the recorded message still be able to inflict damage? What about if 'Power Word Kill' was used for the recording? Is it the sounds themselves that carry the effects or are the sounds merely a vehicle for the spell to effect said creature? Or can Magical Tinkerings recorded message store a thunderclap to use on command? In the end, what i'm trying to do is apply a recorded message to a blade or a shield or any object applicable to have a free casted spell on contact or is that illegal.

It would record the sound not the magic. A recording can't cast these spells anymore than a creature that doesn't know them can.
