Is it possible to enable Artificers access to the spells from Acquisitions Incorporated? I know the books presents options for classes, but it also says that they can be given to any class at the DM's discretion. Is there a workaround for this, or am I just gonna have to make them as Homebrew spells and port them in that way?
Do you mean in game or in dndbeyond? If it’s in game there should be no problem unless you’re trying to play adventurers league, since as I understand they only allow PHB + 1 other book. (Obviously this is, as always, a check with your DM type situation, they might not allow one book or the other) If it’s in beyond, I’d think you’d just have to buy both of the books here on the platform.
Specifically in dndbeyond, yeah. They're only set for wizards and bards, I believe.
They are set for several different classes. The Wizard can learn (6) all but motivational speech. Artificers, Druids, paladins, and rangers can't learn any. Bards can learn 3 of them, clerics can also learn 3 (only 1 overlap with bard), and sorcerers and warlocks have the same 2.
I wish there was a better interface for comparing and contrasting two spell lists side by side, to see where they differ. The individual spell entries often have tags for the classes that they belong to, but that doesn't always reflect subclasses, isn't always complete, isn't really searchable, and isn't really comparable.

I know what you mean. I really want an exclusion filter for classes. To find non-warlock cantrips for example.
Hey y'all, first post here.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.

I found a pretty decent workaround to just create homebrew copies of the spells and add Artificer to the classes they're available for.
