Can I copy spells from other classes that I find on scrolls or do they have to be on the wizard spell list?
Also can i copy a spell into my book that is of a higher level than i can currently cast but NOT prepare it until i am a high enough level wizard?
If i lose my spellbook i know i can copy the spells i have prepared THAT day into a new one, but what if I take a long rest before obtaining a new one? Example I'm captured and my book destroyed and I'm in a cell for a month before I escape and get a new book. Will I remember and be able to cast my most recent list of prep6spells and cantrips?

Copying a Spell into the Book. When you find a wizard spell of 1st level or higher, you can add it to your spellbook if it is of a spell level you can prepare and if you can spare the time to decipher and copy it.
You can remember your prepared spells indefinitely without a book. The book is only need to change your spells.
