No. If you transform into a beast with 4 HP, that form has 4 HP - no matter what level you are when you wildshape. When you lose those 4 HP, you revert to your original form and take the remaining damage. The HP of each form does not scale; the only way that you can get more HP is to wildshape into beasts that have more HP.

It has been a while since I have played a druid and I was wondering about the HP when Wild Shape is done.
If I am transforming into a deer (base HP 1d8 (average 4)) and I do this at 2nd level, my HP would be 2d8 (average 8). Is that correct?
So if I do this at level 3, it would be 3d8 (average 12).
I remember the average health is almost always used, but I wanted to make sure.

The level in your druid class has no bearing on hit points of Wild Shape. You use the hit points as they are stated in the creature's stats block.
