In most circumstances, spell slots you get from the Pact Magic class feature and spell slots you get from the Spellcasting class feature are interchangeable. If you're a Warlock/Bard multiclass, you can cast Bard spells with your Pact Magic slots, and your Warlock spells with your Spellcasting slots. In fact, a multiclass like this can be helpful since you can use some of those low-level Spellcasting slots for low-level Warlock spells that you have no need to scale up, like Faerie Fire(for Archfey), Hex(if you don't need it lasting all day), Mirror Image etc. That way you can save your Pact Magic slots for bigger spells or low-level spells that scale up, like Shatter or Hellish Rebuke. In addition, a Warlock/Paladin could use their Pact Magic slots for Divine Smite.
However, there are some Warlock Invocations which explicitly require the use of a "Warlock spell slot", meaning a Pact Magic slot. in some cases, the Invocation lets you cast a specific spell once per day, using a Warlock spell slot. And Eldritch Smite functions similar to a Paladin's Divine Smite, but requires the use of a Warlock spell slot.
Here is the relevant rule, in case you want to be sure:
Pact Magic. If you have both the Spellcasting class feature and the Pact Magic class feature from the warlock class, you can use the spell slots you gain from the Pact Magic feature to cast spells you know or have prepared from classes with the Spellcasting class feature, and you can use the spell slots you gain from the Spellcasting class feature to cast warlock spells you know.
It definitely gives permission for using both pact and spellcasting slots on spells. The devs have said that you can use either type of slot for features that don't specify a type (such as divine smite), even though that isn't strictly RAW (RAW only mentions casting spells, not using other features).

I want to know if I can use my pact slots to cast only my warlock spell or does it just act as another spell slot??
Another spell slot.
Just like any other spell slot, useable to cast any spells from other classes.
If you are a Sorcerer, you can even convert them into Sorcerer Points
