So I know magic healing is top dog when it comes to survivability but there is just something I love about the idea of a soldier dashing through the battlefield, grabbing his friends, hauling them behind some cover and giving them first aid. I am not sure why there is just something in the mental image that resonates with me.
So in order to build this, I know I need A) Healer feat, and B) A way to use the Use an Object action without sacrificing my main action. So looking at this I need a variant human to start with the Healer Feat, then the rogue class to get Fast Hands from the thief at level 3. I am thinking after that dipping into paladin for healing touch but I really want to focus on the Healer's kit, if for no other reason than to skew the geek the mage (or target the healer) trope. So..would love to hear some constructive feedback, maybe some helpful ideas, or even a useful tip or two.
Well, I was thinking that you can push, drag, or lift a weight in pounds up to twice your carrying capacity (or 30 times your Strength score). While pushing or dragging weight in excess of your carrying capacity, your speed drops to 5 feet. Which, while not letting you drag them far from combat would hopefully be enough to drag your compatriots out of a trap or the main line of a firefight.
