So, I don't want to get this wrong. "Whenever you finish a long rest, you can touch up to 2 nonmagical objects, imbuing each of them with one of your artificer infusions, turning it into a magic item. You can attune yourself to the item the instant you infuse it, or you can forgo attunement so that someone else can attune to the item. Your infusion remains in an item indefinitely, but when you die, the infusion vanishes after 4 days. The infusion also vanishes if you give up your knowledge of the infusion or you exceed your maximum number of infusions."
Does this mean that I can only have 2 of the 4 infusions Active at a time? Or can I make 2, long rest, then make the other 2 and have all 4 on me? I have the idea that I can only have 2 at a time I just wanna make sure so I don't look dumb when I play this class. Thanks!
The Artificer table has two columns, one for Infusions known, this is the number of different infusions you can make, and one for Infused Items, this is both the Maximum number of active infusions you can have as well as the number of infusions you can make after a long rest.
So in your case, you can only have 2 active infusions at any given time, but are free to pick and choose from the four you know after each long rest.

2 at any given time is your max at that level. Here is the Artificer table:
You don't know what fear is until you've witnessed a drunk bird divebombing you while carrying a screaming Kobold throwing fire anywhere and everywhere.
