This came up in my game tonight so I wanted to ask the community. If a gelatinous cube is transparent, would you say it can or cannot be affected by faerie fire? Since technically it is transparent and light just goes through it and it is not technically invisible.

If faerie fire can affect someone who is already invisible, I think it's safe to say it can affect a gelatinous cube.

Agree with Devin Faerie Fire outlines a thing. The cube might be transparent, but it still has edges.
Yes, faerie fire would affect it. It would make it into a glowing cube, making it easier to see, that's the point of that spell.
