You can try and physically disarm them and then on your next turn telekinetically move it away from them. Or better yet have a friend disarm them since they'll probably pick it back up over the course of a turn.

Nothing in the feature allows for it to be used to make an attack, the "object that is Large or smaller" part specifies "to an unoccupied space" and the "Tiny object" alternative is "to or from your hand".
Can a Psi Knight use the Telekinetic Movement ability to move a weapon (tiny object) from an enemy; disarming them?
No. The feature requires that it be a "loose object."
