So this is just a quick thought after looking over the college of creation. When you use your song of creation and create an item, it says it cannot be gp value more than 20 times your bard level. ie a 7th level bard cannot create something worth more than 140 gold. However at level 14 you are no longer limited by the gold value. So my thought/question is, at that point could you technically use your song of creation to say, create a diamond worth 25000 gold for true resurrection/a diamond of whatever value needed for revive spells. There is nothing in the ability text that says it cannot be an item used for spell components. The only spell I know that says anything of the sort is Creation and that specifically says using the materials made by the spell creation as components causes the other spell you are trying to cast to fail.
Thoughts and opinions?
edit: it also says the item lasts a number of hours equal to your proficiency bonus, so it's not like you're constantly turning out items for the party of infinite value.
Seems like it would work. I don’t know if it would be useful for something like revivify owing to the time constraints, unless you had it prepared in advance. But for the higher level spells, it seems like it would be ok. As long as you use it before the time runs out.
I mean, to create the item just takes an action, and it doesnt say a limit to how many times you can use it. just that the item disappears after a # of hours equal to prof bonus or til you do that action again. So technically mid battle can be the diamond factory for revivifies.

Canto alla vita alla sua bellezza ad ogni sua ferita ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!

Yep. Those 1kgp gem encrusted bowls for Heroe's Feast? Not a hindrance anymore.
