Warlock Pact Magic is different from spellcasting, and Paladins have half spellcasting progression, so:
Paladin 5 / Warlock 1
Spellcasting: 4 - 1st level, 2 - 2nd level
Pact Magic: 1 - 1st level
Paladin 5 / Warlock 2
Spellcasting: 4 - 1st level, 2 - 2nd level
Pact Magic: 2 - 1st level
Paladin 5 / Warlock 3
Spellcasting: 4 - 1st level, 2 - 2nd level
Pact Magic: 2 - 2nd level
Multiclassing Paladin5/Warlock5 is the same as both classes separately. Pact Magic does not stack with Spellcasting. You can use either set of slots to cast spells from the other, but only the pact magic spell slots regenerate on a short rest.
Pact magic and spellcasting don't interact much from multiclassing (other than that you can use any slot for any spell). You get slots from both according to the individual class features. No editing needed.
