You don’t usually average or call for multiple skill checks for the same action. Just determine which you think is the best fit and call for that one. You can also call for a Dexterity (performance) check instead of the usual Charisma (performance) check
If we are talking about a purely acrobatic display (like olympics), dex acrobatics. If it is more of an acrobatic dance (like a circus) dex performance. IMO.
The thing to remember is the ability scores attached to the various skills are just kind of the default. As DM, you can decide a different ability is more appropriate. As in this case, where they might use dex for a performance, another common one is characters using str for intimidate.
Don't forget the "help" action - maybe another character can assist by being the MC--- "For her next amazing performance, Lana the Laconic will tightrope walk on her hands..."
