Hello. One of my players likes the new ranger subclass Monster Slayer. But we're not really sure how many times he gets to use Slayer's Prey each day. 
It says "This benefit lasts until you finish a short or long rest. It ends early if you designate a different creature." So... can you even designate a different creature? I'm asking this because, in DnD beyond's character sheet it says slayer's prey is a limited use class feature, usable only once per short rest.

I corrected the limited use of Slayer's Prey. Now it is just an on/off toggle with no reset specified.

Indeed, a ranger can use this feature always. The cost to use it (a bonus action) must be spent after a rest or if the ranger designates a different target.
