Infernal war machine question

What happens to creatures and objects that go into a infernal war machine's furnace(not including soul coins)?

Ok, but say someone cast gaseous form to get in. Would they take damage or no when they are turn solid agian?

 Okay, One their soul is instantly consumed, so no more coming back from the dead. Then I would give 6d10 fire damage per round in either condition.
