Whats going on lol? So I just started getting into dnd and I have been coming up with some characters and I just wanted to get some feedback from some players.
Well don't keep us in suspense man! Give us the scuttlebutt on your character ideas.

"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
Thanks man I really appreciated it I've been struggling with deciding on attributes and skills and I would love some help.
1. A were-bear with a base human or Goliath form. I've been thinking since Goliaths are more likely to be conflict with bears, so I'd imagine it would be more likely. Plus it would be cooler.
2. A gorgonic man. An man with the hair of snakes wielding a powerful whip. He is graceful moving across the battlefield. I'd imagine he'd have a venomous bite but I don't know yet. I just learned that there is a gorgon in dnd that is a giant bull.
Number Three is my favorite:
3. A medieval cyborg lol. So what happened was he was a human man he fought bravely to protect the lives of a dwarf hunting party and was gravely wounded. The dwarfs were able to save him but only by mending his body with a construct. He hides his appearance under a cowl and goggles, but he has no problem casting it aside during combat. He is equipped with a crossbow/bolt launcher in this left arm, and a retractable dwarven short sword, for stealth attacks, in his right.
So, some easy ways to build these characters are as follows:
1. Make a Goliath Druid who can wild-shape into a Bear as one of his starting (and if you want, only) animal forms.
2. Make the guy a Yaun-Ti pureblood and flavor his racial venom attack as his hair snakes spitting venom at people.
3. Build the character as a Warforged and just flavor it as a normal guy who has had so much of his body replaced by machine parts that he is mostly a living construct at this point.

I like the third one. :) if you make that character might i suggest that you have him carry and cherish/protect something small, maybe from someone he cared about long ago, to remind himself that he was once a regular human? Just a suggestion. :)

Sounds like you have the beginnings of your own adventure in the land of Oz. A werebear instead of the Cowardly Lion, an actual scary replacement for the Scarecrow and a Tin Man to boot! Now you just need a redhead to enter the picture and the group is complete! Perhaps an Archfey warlock with a sprite named Toto?

That is genius

I honestly thought you were trying to recreate Robocop on your third one, until I saw the concept art. His ability to cast off the cowl so frequently, and his crossbow (gun) in his left and the retractable thieves tool in his right. Still do, I guess
