I've been wondering how an Alucard build from Castlevania would work.
Firstly a Hexblood or Half-Elf would probably make sense as the race, and either Warlock with pact of the Lich or Bloodhunter as the class. That still doesn't cover most of his abilities, but using Transformations from the Grim Hollow campaign setting would probably help.

Dhampir Circle of the Stars Druid. Bear with me. As Alucard (especially in Symphony of the night), one of your main abilities to topple any other is shapeshifting. It doesn't need to be complex: your pick of white wolf and bat at any given time. Magic allows you to turn into mist, the valuable third form, or there could be negotiating with the DM. There is more to this. As a science nerd raised by Dracula, Alucard had access to implements and knowledge both scientific and magical. What is important to note is that we're dealing with forgotten sciences and magics, so druidic magic suits him in the sense that it is ancient, unpracticed, known by him and a select few. The circle of the stars flavors him as an astronomer and astrologer, someone who would geek out about "adamic" and "chaldeic". His weapon of choice? A dancing longsword. Well... Alucard's sword is weird. DM's discretion, make it a 10ft range piercing sword. But yeah, dancing sword. And to round it out, a significantly more physical stat spread than most druids and proficiency in alchemist's supplies.
The idea of him being a druid is very interesting but oddly makes a lot of sense.. My thought would be maybe multiclassing in Artificer to have the more "academic" or "scientific."

This fellow does a pretty good job at building Alucard from Castlevania. You may want to look into the Dhampir race and possibly telekinetic feat and adjust from there. https://youtu.be/Bai0Z1BcNz8
There is an item that is called a Dancing Sword which is pretty close to Alucards magic flying sword, so that part is easy. As for the Alucard himself, i would go for probably a Dhampir Battlemaster Fighter/Moon Druid multiclass with a Noble or sage background. Alucard is a master at fighting hand to hand and punching, which could make a case for a strength build, but most likely you want to put most of your points into Dex, Con, and Wis. This is just my first thoughts, so take this all with a grain of salt. I could be completely wrong. But this is what immediately came to mind.

Actually, as a race I think Dhampir would work better.
Come participate in the Competition of the Finest Brews, Edition XXVIII?
My homebrew stuff:
Spells, Monsters, Magic Items, Feats, Subclasses.
I am an Archfey, but nobody seems to notice.
Extended Signature
Indeed it would, but I don't own Van Richten's so thanks for pointing that out

That's how I'd do an Alucard
