Tasha's is for her first name ("Natasha" which is far easier to remember than Iggwilv), but there's nothing to say that named spells must be the first or last name. Tasha's could be considered as technically a nickname.
Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. A lot of them (like Mordenkainen, Bigby, or Elmister) are more one-named like Madonna or Prince. Thanks for posting this topic because that was a fun comparison it allowed me to make haha
In your campaign, named spells may refer to the name of a cabal of magic users who all specialize in this sequence of spells, not one single wizard. The cabals might be jealously guarding variants of these related spells, like kung fu dojos. That might be a good twist for a campaign hook and some wild settings based on these spells.

When a spell is named after its creator, such as Tasha's hideous laughter, is it named after the creator's first name or last name?
