Hey all, this is less of a question or call for help and more assistance for those who need it. Ive been spending the last few months building a homebrewed world in the Material Plane. You all can use it if you want and can adjust it however you wish. In this original post I will give a brief summary of the world and if anyone wants some more specifics that can be arranged.
Welcome to the plane of Daush'uth, a largely divine plane with the gods' wills firmly planted in amongst the citizens of the plane. There are 7 continents that comprise the plane and they are split by large oceans and seas.
Tealdria
Tealdria is the most densely populated continent of Daush'uth and the economic centre of the plane. While a large portion of the continent is open, unpopulated land there are various large cities sporadically across the landscape and smaller towns and villages fill in some of those gaps across the land. Total size of the continent is 7061 miles from east to west at the longest and 3128 miles from north to south and the longest. The Aranrius mountain range reaches across most of the western side of the continent about 1000 miles inland, named after the tiefling who first began setting up the city at the base of that mountain range which shares a name with the mountain range. The port city of Xunliam is the religious centre of the continent while also acting as the primary trade port between Tealdria, Vestroa and Eacluin, both being north of Tealdria. The main trade of the continent however is Deiqira, along the eastern coast of the country and has the closest route to the remaining 4 continents when they can be accessed. Most of the continent looks down upon the arcane due to their involvement in the war of arcanum and the close connection to the gods, however a few small migrant towns set up to the south, as far away from Xunliam as possible, do accept the arcane and assist in hiding those born with abilities like that. During the Age of Divinity Tealdria was used as the main hub for the gods playtime and was also the location where Ioun built all of the temples. Because of this a large portion of the population are highly religious and certain towns and cities follow some god's more than others. If you were to walk around the entire continent you would find a temple for each god in the pantheon spread out across the continent. Tealdria sits across the Equinoctial line at the bottom and reaches quite north at the top so while the southern cities can be quite tropical the northern cities will snow quite often and become very cold.
Dicrivora
Dicrivora is a small Archipelago made up of ten to fifteen islands to the south east of Tealdria, each named after a member of the adventuring team that discovered the archipelago. The largest of the islands stretches 486 miles in diameter. The smallest of these islands, Clydart, is the home to the Water Aisias, a faction of the druids of Daush'uth. The Aisias create their home over the entrance to the elemental planes. Clydart marks the entrance to the water plane and within the caves of the island there is a massive natural well that, during the right times or with the right magic, is the place to enter the plane. Each of the islands has its own set of caves and tunnels and on the largest island, Uaplesh, a large dungeon can be found deep within the tunnels. In the very centre of this dungeon is a large room containing various teleportation circles to every continent within Daush'uth. The druids of this land keep themselves well hidden and as such most people believe their existence to be a folk tale to explain the elements within this world. Dicrivora is also the most common location for pirates and other sea based bandits to set up shop when they aren't roaming the Dratohz Sea and the surrounding area.
Straetela
Straetela is a very natural continent, druids who are not apart of the Aisias flood to this continent to feel the pull of the highly concentrated natural powers. The members of the earth Aisias have also made this place their home as it is the closest spot on Daush'uth to the Earth elemental plane. Large stretches of this continent are taken up by dense forest and the creatures within can be quite dangerous to outsiders. The few safe towns and villages across Straetela are small ones located amongst the canopy of these forests. There are also a few along the coastline that are on the ground however these are not very safe as creatures from the water and the forests quite often attack them. From top to bottom Straetela reaches 4678 miles from top to bottom and 2321 miles across.
Claheron
Claheron is an interesting location as it has people not like anyone else in the plane. The citizens of Claheron are known as the chosen and weild weapons that they call Gutrender. The Chosen keep themselves secluded from the rest of the plane so it is unlikely that they will be seen outside of Claheron, it is just as unlikely for an outsider to be able to enter Claheron unharmed as the Chosen are very secretive and wish for others to know nothing of them. There are absolutely know history books detailing the people there or what they do however there are stories, mainly around Claheron's closest neighbour Pravroa, that on Spring Awakening a few strange creatures can be seen wandering around the capital city of Tustron, gathering materials and celebrating alongside everyone else. These are believes to be a group of the Chosen discovering if it is safe to reveal themselves. Those that have visited Claheron describe it similar to that of Straetela, very dense forests surrounding small towns of no more than 500 people. The citizens seem to embrace the arcane as the Gutrender are powerful magic weapons in their own right. Claheron was not a naturally formed land mass and as such it is very perfectly shaped. 2502 miles from end to end in every direction forms a perfect square continent.
Pravroa
The citizens of Pravroa are mystical people who follow a strict code of honour. The few towns that exist are small and rather empty. A large majority of the population live in monasteries. Atop mountains, deep in valleys and just about anywhere that most people would never live these monasteries were built and a lot of Pravroans now live in those. The monks of these particular monasteries train in both the physical and the mystical. The continent itself is not a very flat place, a lot of mountainss, valleys and otherwise make it a dangerous place to traverse. At it's longest Pravroa reaches 2493 miles across and 1822 from top to bottom.
Vestroa
Although Tealdria is the holiest continent and the place where most of the temples are, Vestroa is the continent that is most similar to the Celestial Plane. When the shardminds left Tealdria they colonised Vestroa and attempted to make it as close as possible to the Celestial Plane that they had come from. This meant that all the cities and towns were exact replicas of the towns in the Celestial Plane and that some terraforming needed to be done. The changed the shape of the continent until it was exactly the same as they had known. Did to this it is a rather small continent, only reaching 856 miles from end to end and 1042 miles from top to bottom. Very few mortal races live on Vestroa and those that do live in fear of the Shardminds due to their power. On top of this very few Shardminds leave Vestroa so it is unknown to most what their appearance is. Adventurers who head to Vestroa are never seen again and those that attempt to leave are unable to escape. Beyond that very little is known about the continent and it's citizens.
Im sorry about the length but hopefully some of you can get some use out of this. If you'd like any more specifics feel free to comment on the thread or Private message me
