Been looking at Strixhaven and not quite ready to buy into that, but it did get me wondering with the Dragonmarks of Eberron.
The idea is that members of these families found themselves stuck on another world with no easy means of getting home. With their family line not developing enough to maintain their bloodline some go to the extent of establishing a new form of wizards guild managing to find a way to keep their "dragonmarked" lineage alive by means of educating a new order of dragonmarked one actually based on various wizards guilds using their lineage as their inspiration.
So the dragonmarks of Eberron have been turned into a number of wizards guilds as means of keeping their heritage alive.
My only question would be whether the dragonmarks would appear in settings other than Eberron. From what I know, they are very specific to Eberron. Do the dragonmarks physically appear in other settings?

Does this sound doable to you?
Just wanted some opinions on this.

Alea iacta est
Well where there are planewalkers why not from Eberron?
I was more wondering about creating an order of Wizards inspired by those dragonmarks.
Needs more work and thought though...
