My Cartographer PC(wizard/cleric, sribes/knowledge) is kinda tired of adventuring and wants to give a break and spend some time researching spells, contemplating, meditating, swimming and fishing. Original members of his party just had their funeral ceremonies (cept one who was eaten by dinos) and while he got used to his new partners he is kinda sick of bloodshed and recent deaths.
His previous party had different reasons to come to Chult, a shady criminal who was forced to choose this expedition as otherwise he was going to be executed by Baldur's gate law enforcement, a skilled artificier and an apprentice of a smith called Cromwell who came to save his master's friend from the curse and make him proud, a goliath who is massy even for goliath standards who just became free from a life of slavery and joined the crew for a measly 50 gold coins, his only drive was to become famous before returning home, as a slave he was in pit fights and a ship crew(oars...) for years. Criminal died in executioners run as expected, Goliath died in Arena trying to be famous, And artificier died in an early encounter with a wight and some undead. He came by an elven ranger/monster slayer obsessed with undead, a grave cleric of Kelemvor(who turned out to be a warlock revering some dark power), and an elven blade singer, monk(ascendent dragon) who hosts an anima of a silver dragon(who is usually directing the body) beside his own spirit due to an odd event. And continued on for a while with this new group but in short time, the righteousness perspective of these guys started to look like violence to him. Not to mention warlock problem, now instead of being a part of this overly motivated party he looks for a way out, in his free time he modified his map, and gave some names to some previously unnamed locations for practical purposes. These are:
Area North and East of Port Nyanzaru, named Green Drake Peninsula (alt name Howling Drake Peninsula, the immideate three capes North of Port Nyanzaru: Drakenfang Coves/Capes, or shortly Drakenfang area), North of Fort Beluarian Drakemaw Peninsula, North of Drakemaw is known as Drake's Head and is divided to two named locations Drakejaw Cove, Drakehorn Cape. West of Fort Beluarian lies the silver mine, mine and the Fort are together on an area called "Drakenheart". Mountain system is called by two names Drakewing and Stonewing Mountains, he named some less important sites too for future reference, like North of Fort Belurian, he now calls it Smuggler's Landing but for some reason he thinks that place will be called as Calishite Landing and then as New Almraiven in the future.
Anyway he is looking for a peaceful place now, prefarbly coastal, with no undead activity, and as little trouble as possible. He wants to meditate, contemplate and further his research on Extended Gentle Repose(to make sure his friends are not raised as dead he wants to visit the graves regularly but every 10 day is kinda taxing and go for a swim and fishing when he is stressed out. As DM and players who have been to area, where do you think is the most peaceful shore in Howling Drake Peninsula? Or do you think cape at the Northeast end of Mistcliff Mountains might be safer?(i guess there might be pirate activity there though)
