I’m trying to figure out the name of a NPC and adventuer / side quest that occurred in Sigil.I would like to tie it in to the Eve of Ruin but can’t remember what it’s called. Basically the party meets a beggar who was missing an eye and hand. It turns out the beggar was once a follower of Vecna who once had the Hand and Eye. I think he lived in the Sigil sewers.
Vecna saw him as a threat but could never kill him for some reason. It turns out that the beggar learned so many secrets that he went mad and lost his memories. However, in learning so many secrets he also gained the ability survive any threat Vecna threw at him. He was the boy who lived but doesn’t know how or why.
In the adventure I think the party follows him in the sewers to his home. Then baddies from Vecna attack. The party saves the beggar from the baddies and everyone lives happily ever after. At least until the Eve of Ruin.
Does anyone remember the name of the beggar or what adventure this is in or a better place to post this? Thank you.
