When Eberron won the competition and was chosen to be fully developed by WotC, they also purchased the 2nd place and 3rd place winners.
They are still sitting on those winners and the creators are under a strict non-disclosure agreement. They can't even give a basic idea of what they were like (although I'm sure the write ups exist somewhere, I've never been able to find them)
How about WotC open the vault and let us at least see whats cookin!
How 'bout a nice Greek fantasy, with mythologically accurate gorgons? Or Celtic, with sidhe?
Or Egyptian fantasy, with mythological accurate egyptian stuff? Or tribal south African? Or maybe a massive adaption of tiny bits coming from books, comics, anime, movies, legends and the like. Maybe a supplement detailing the Wizards and Hobbits while also explaining the concept of Stands and the importance of wands in spellcasting, and an evil book artifact to slay those who are unlucky enough to find their name within.
Just an average metalhead who plays DnD in his spare time.
