Short summary of my currently built up lore There are 5 draconic gods- 4 moons and 1 sun- that control separate things.
Scythe - Controls the monstrosities of the land Reign - Controls the dragons of the land Doom - Controls the demons of the land Blight - Controls the Scourge*
(side note: if you've read the Songs of Chaos series by Michael R. Miller, the Scourge and dragon riders are in my campaign)
The gods have been corrupted, and the moon gods are eclipsing the land once a week, with each eclipse causing the moons' creatures to be summoned. Proxima has not been seen for months (around the same time that the eclipses started) The 5 lands (Nyxia (typical land with forests, grassy plains, etc), Sol (very bright and vibrant due to proximity to the sun god), Terranoria (desert and harsh environment), Risalia (wetlands), Etherea (thinnest location between the material plane and the fae wilds)) are struggling to push back the Scourge* and survive the eclipses The dragon riders of land (they ride lesser versions of dragons) are the main defense against the Scourge*
*the Scourge is a new type of undead created by the lesser gods, but ultimately have become a plague, turning any living thing into a Scourge Beast. a single Scourge Beast is extremely hard to defeat, with 5 different types of Scourge Beast (ghoul, flayer, juggernaut, abomination, queen) The Players the players are currently level 5, and heading to Terranoria. I need quest ideas to keep them entertained, and hopefully provide more lore towards the cause of the eclipses
my BBEG is a very powerful dragon that created a sort of virus that corrupted the gods (I don't mind going into much more in depth lore if anyone wants me to)
This feels like it may be based at least partially on lore from Magic the Gathering (With the five gods/land types, etc) - I don't really know too much of that lore myself, but I know that's a huge swathe of information which could directly provide inspiration.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
