In summary, I play a Tabaxi Druid and I need some more information on the typical way of life that the race of Tabaxi has. The importance in knowing that would help me figure out what is my Tabaxi doing in the northern parts of Faerun anyway, (and it would also help me shape his personality better). So If you are willing to write some info, I would be grateful. Side note: this is my first time playing a full D&D campaign (but I have played a few one-shots).
You can also ask your DM. Likely they'll either have info on Tabaxi in the FR already, or they'll come up with something that works with the game they're running. (Possibly working with you.)
Don't forget the Forgotten Realms Wiki. It has information that the ragtag crew of miscreants that runs it have pulled together over the years. You might could find some suitable inspiration and ideas there.
Let us know what you come up with for your tabaxi's back story. Ma Belle Femme ran a tabaxi ranger that was an absolute killing machine. It was fun.
None of this is canon to Faerun, let alone your campaign, but I had a lot of fun fleshing out tabaxi culture in our campaign based on the broad strokes provided in the old Mordenkainen's writeup.
I .. well, I don't have any interest at all in what the official lore is on this topic. Nothing against it, just a lack of interest. If, however, I were to design lore for tabaxi, first thing I'd do .. actually second, first thing I'd rename them to maybe felids or something. Second thing, I'd make a distinction of three basic types:
Great plains felids - basically lion guys, Leorans
Mountain or arctic felids - lynx, cougar, puma guys, Pantherans
Or girls.
And I realise they're all pantherans, but I don't care. This isn't a thesis.
I'd work from there. Leorans, being more family oriented, would be tribal, ruled by large and often lazy - but surprisingly majestic males. Tech level could be anything, but hunter based culture regardless.
I imagine Tigrans as loners, but with .. underlings. Propably slaves. With females being the largest, most dangerous. Decadent luxury, high learning but not much in the way of tech - but instead, magic.
And Pantherans as sort of stealthy vi-cats. Or snowy cat-sassins.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
