So for our new campaign, which takes place in the real world as we play ourselves entering a Sword Art Online style story, we need to come up with unique backgrounds for who we are in the context of the game and our goals. My character is a Larping hard while in the virtual world they end up trapped in, but I'm trying to think of a cool day job for him to actually have when he's out of character.
Any suggestions beyond reporter? I'm thinking something like Farmer who wants more than simple farm life or a college literature teacher who teaches about great heroes and wants to live out his fantasy as one. Something that gives him good motivation to want to be in this world.
Dude who works at an office supply retail store. He has kinda (bad word) his life, with several failed relationships and stuff, (MILD ROMANCE ALERT) where his brother marries the love of his life. ( I got this from a book-just want to give credit to Shirtaloon, the author)
