I've got a fantasy novel in the works, which will probably launch sometime next year. Prior to this, I've chartered a book cover through 99Designs, and I've narrowed the contenders to just a few now...time to seek public feedback!
The poll linked below contains the leading designs for the cover, and I'd like to get responses there, specifically which cover(s) catch your eye, which would have you reaching for the shelf to see what the book is about.
I really appreciate your feedback, and I'll keep you posted on when the book is going to launch!
Thanks -

P.S. Please share as widely as possible, the more opinions I get on this, the better!
#48 looks like a romance novel. He's just standing there with his shirt open and a pouty look on his face.
#44 and #65 are better, but he's still just standing still. There's no movement.
#36 is excellent. The side profile implies movement, but the shadow keeps his identity mysterious. And he's standing between the living trees and the flames, but facing the trees, implying that he's caught between two world and it hints at which one he prefers.
#73 is also excellent. It's a very active pose, and the cape forms an inverted triangle that draws the eye from the title down to the character.
