Now I know Asmodeus is considered the biggest baddy of all the devils/demons/infernal?
But I was looking back at my Bladelock that I'm making, thinking of making his bond with him & I'm trying to figure out...
would that really work with him since Asmodeus is a Lawful Evil while my guy is Chaotic Good?
I don't see any Chaotic Evil Greater Deity who has a strong influence over the demonic, or maybe I'm over thinking this & it really doesn't matter since Asmodeus doesn't even take up Humans?
What do you guys know that I don't about Warlock Pacts & the Greater Evil Deities?
There is a pretty well-defined difference between devils and demons in 5e. I'm pretty sure that for the most part, devils are lawful while demons are chaotic. Instead of looking at evil leaders of the Nine Hells, look at the evil leaders of the Abyss. I think you might find a closer match to what you want there. (Also I don't remember this off hand, so what I'm saying might be the opposite of what it is-just make sure to do your research and you should find it!)

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

Actually now that you mention it I think I might have found somebody, I got confused a bit since not many wikis have a very large list of deities... Some dude named Graz'zt?
This might actually work cause he's not just powerful but he's also a lady-killer, he's got that acid greatsword thing + creepy magic powers, he's got his own cult...
I think this would work but, thematically how do Warlock Pacts with "The Fiend" backstories go normally? Since I'm giving my character amnesia & he's also a human with a demonic infection... could it be possible for him to be his son? I mean it sounds like Graz'zts has a strong charismatic influence over people & he's really smart, but how common do demons generally employ humans for their needs outside of just cultists? As like a partner or maybe an avatar for possession?
Warlocks shouldn't be pacting with Deities, they should be pacting with Powers.
You might want to give the Sword Coast Adventure's Guide a read, it's got plenty of Powers in there available for pacting, some of them would work well with a CG Warlock.

For starters he's a Bladelock & Honesty? No offense but I'm looking at it now & the beings they list for "The Fiend" Pacts... kinda suck. I mean seriously like the only one that MIGHT work is MAYBE Wendonai? (MAYBE 2 but thats really stretching it)..
But even then trying to make that fit with this character & his backstory, abilities is gonna be really haphazard & disjointed if you ask me. Plus half of these guys aren't really demons or chaotic evil for that matter! Cause one of them's got like... "demonic flora powers"?
Seriously? Thats kinda pathetic if the most you can do as a demon is be a Pink second rate Swamp Thing & not even an interesting one at that, heck he looks like the Minotaur deity as well so he might as well be like the same dude... And even if I was inclined, I did a search of some of their names in the book & apart from their ONE paragraphs... there's like barely any worth while info on them? Its not even anything that interesting compared to some of the greater or even lesser beings which have some serious cred behind them in just a line of detail.
Heck the Prince of Lies is pretty cool, or I'd even take Lloth over this stuff & Drows have a pretty strong connection to her anyways usually. So these guys just seem pointless if you ask me. =/
I think I'm sticking with Graz'zt, it just makes more sense to me the way I'm making this character. Heck it'll be easier than trying to shoe horn all these weirdos. I mean these are the kind of two bit villains who look like they'd be more likely to show up as sub-bosses in an RPG, I can't see any of them coming up with a master demonic plan or something... Half of them don't even sound like they do from the way they're written in the book.. -_-;
Well, if you're looking for information on deities serving as Patrons, you won't find anything from the official books, because RAW Patrons are not gods. That's why you won't find WotC products with Lloth, etc, serving as Patrons.
The various Powers in the SCAG are all derived from previously established Faerun lore.
Graz'zt's a good choice for a Patron, as well as the rest of the named Demon Lords, so long as they haven't ascended to Godhood.

Probably not, Lolth hates men & I don't think Human's are fared any better. Plus this guy's a womanizing ****** so chances are lolth would kill him on principle. =/
Make sure above all to talk to your dm about what they think. In the end everything you're getting here is suggestion, and it's up to the world that you and the dm create. I think a pact with a demon like Graz'zt would be pretty cool, and you could definitely take it to some kind of personal Zeus-impregnating-women-while-disguised feel with it. But above all make sure your dm is on board with it!

yeah provided I can even GET one period with the way things are going.. -_-;
Tharizdun, also known as the elemental eye, creator of the Abyss. Enemy of all gods, and advocate of ending the multiverse. He tried to destroy all reality, but all the other gods banded together to stop him. They were unable to kill the mad god so instead he was sealed in the most remote prison in existence for all time. Over the eons, tendrils of the god's power leak out from the prison and seek out individuals with the goal of freeing the mad god.

Would Lolth be an option for you?
Be careful what you Wish for... your DM may just give it to you!
