I like the Baldur's Gazetteer and I really wish we would get something like it for the other major cities on the Sword Coast. Cities like Neverwinter and Waterdeep.
Maybe some of the smaller cities as well:
Elturel
Berdusk
Scornubel
Luskan
Many, and more, can be found on e.g. the unofficial Forgotten Realms wiki, but the level of information found there is often wildly varied. So, something at least semi-official and consistent would be awesome.
The Forgotten Realms Wiki is huge (over 60K pages), and constantly growing. Have you thought about reaching out to Ed Greenwood to see if he is planning on adding more detail to these cities in the Wiki, or maybe the Adminsof the site?
I know that Ed is constantly putting up videos on his YouTube Channel showcasing deep dives into specific areas of the Forgotten Realms, maybe you could comment and ask for a Deep Dive on one of the cities you are looking form ore info on... just a thought:)
Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
You know? That never occurred to me. I think I really just assumed that the Forgotten Realms wiki is a fan site.
I mean, I know it is huge, but I figured that everything there really originated somewhere else, typically some official supplement, source book or adventure from Wizard of the Coast.
I never thought it might also contain original stuff ...
Yea, Ed Greenwood is the one that created The Forgotten Realms, and is still writing new material all of the time. Check out some of his YouTube videos, they are pretty interesting if you like to get deep into the lore and history, which it sounds like you do.
I hope you can get some info that you are looking for!
Cheers :)

I’m running a big chunk of my campign in Neverwinter, the fact that there so much the PC’s could do was really stressing me out, but I’ve found a lot of useful resources . There are a few good interactive maps for Neverwinter that are freely available, I’ll find the links in a bit. There’s the old Neverwinter campign setting book, which has some good stuff and a new one which someone’s made, I’ll post a link to that too.

Thanks for the tips. Much appreciated!
Waterdeep has Volo´s Waterdeep-Enchiridon which you can buy seperately from the Waterdeep: Dragon Heist Campaign over on DMs Guild.
Oh? Cool... I'll have a look.
